Here's an overview of how to find computer specification requirements, versions, and languages available for Windows These are the basic requirements for installing Windows 10 on a PC.

Windows 10 is designed to deliver updates for the supported lifetime of the device. Two types of updates may be provided: quality updates and feature updates. Quality updates include both security and non-security updates and are typically targeted to be released once a month.
Feature updates also include security and non-security fixes as well as new features to Windows 10 and are typically provided twice a year. Ensuring that your device receives these updates and is kept up-to-date is important for your device security.
When an update is available—and sufficient free disk space is available on your device—it will be automatically installed. See additional applicable details in the following notes.
The size of the Windows operating system that comes with your device and the amount of space needed to download and install Windows updates, are highly variable as they depend on a variety of factors. Visit here to learn why. The factors that impact the amount of free hard drive space needed to take an update include: the versions of Windows previously installed on the machine, the amount of disk space available to reuse from Windows files, such as the virtual memory pagefile or hibernation file, which applications are installed on your device and how those applications store data.
Starting with the May Update, the system requirements for hard drive size for clean installs of Windows 10 as well as new PCs changed to a minimum of 32GB. The 32GB or larger drive requirement is set to leave space for users to install apps and to keep data on the device. Installing Windows or updating from a previous version of Windows on devices with less than 32GB storage will continue to work if the device has enough free space available.
When updating, Windows will attempt to automatically free up enough hard drive space and guide you through freeing up even more if the automatic cleanup is not sufficient. You can also take steps to free up space on your own.

So far, Microsoft has not taken a staunch position on the legality of cheap Windows keys. However, what I can say is cheap Windows 10 keys are not entirely illegitimate. The keys are procured by organizations and later sold to third-party sellers for a much lower cost. Apart from that, in some countries, the keys are quite cheaper so you get it at an affordable price.
However, you can find a better deal on Amazon or other online stores. Just make sure to check the authenticity of the seller before placing an order.
OEM copies of Windows are entirely legitimate and you can use it without any issue. We have mentioned 7 different ways to get Windows keys for cheap so go through all the points. You can find some sweet deal from section 4. All the features of the operating system version are the same for both license types. The difference is that with a retail license, you can transfer the license key to a different PC later on.
The process for activating a Windows 10 OEM license is the same as for a retail license. In exchange for a lower price, you get to use the license key on only one PC, period. Microsoft has historically been kind about such situations, however; you can usually call to reactivate the license after replacing a fried mobo.
But it is an extra hassle. Not all student discounts are reserved for the under set. As mentioned above, license types determine what you can do with Windows—and who can use it, as well.
Through the Academic Volume Licensing agreements, schools can purchase access to Windows 10 Education for their students, faculty, and staff. Some make it available only on campus machines.
Others will grant a license for use on a home machine. The catch: You have to sign up for at least one course to qualify for campus discounts. Typical options are usually of the physical education or dance variety swim, ballet, jazz, boot camp workouts, etc. In those cases, your main options are the OEM license outlined above or buying through a reseller detailed below.

How to Get Windows 11 or Windows 10 for Free (or Under $20) | Tom's Hardware - Question Info
Now that I'm in my final semester, I'll soon be leaving the college and the laptop provided to us is ours to keep after graduation. The issue is that my windows gets deactivated and also Microsoft Office Suite and it is frustrating.
It isn't my fault that the university isn't really aware about how enterprise licenses work, and as a result, I have to deal with constant annoying messages about how my windows is about to get deactivated. And I'll be using this laptop for at least a year or two more for my professional work, so this really hampers me down. I'm just looking for a way to downgrade my enterprise license to Windows Pro, without having to buy a new license key.
In case you any Microsoft employee wants to verify my identity and check for legitimacy, you can contact me personally through email and I'll provide you with my Edu email along with outlook email I've participated in Windows Insider program before.
Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. There is no downgrade route from Windows 10 Enterprise to Windows 10 Pro, you will need to clean install Windows 10 Pro and buy a new licence.
A clean install will have to delete all data on the device so the first thing to do is to backup all you personal files. Once you can boot from the USB drive you select Language then Install now and Custom install, at that point delete all partitions one at a time until you only have unallocated space, select next and follow the prompts. Microsoft Office is different you may still be able to use the licence providing you can use the same email account after leaving the university.
I don't necessarily need Windows 10 Pro. Even Home is fine. All I want is a legitimate Windows copy on my machine. And I think my situation doesn't arise from any sort of illegitimacy, as the university should've provided all of us Windows 10 Home or pro version if they were going to allow us to keep our laptops.
Also, if the license wasn't costly, I would've changed it long time ago, but it is. And it's not worth it to buy a license for this machine in particular when I'm going to inevitably change it one or two years. I'm extremely sorry if the tone of my previous message aired a lot of frustration. And I appreciate your assistance and prompt reply. I'm grateful for that. If you have a genuine license key for Windows 10 Pro. You can definitely revert back from enterprise to Pro without having to purchase another Win 10 Pro license.
These type of licenses are not transferable despite being linked to your Microsoft account. Windows 10 would have used the Windows 8 license to create the digital license and if it was OEM then it is not transferable to new hardware. It boils down to the type of license and not whether it is linked to your account. If same exact system that had Pro then no if hardware changes like motherboard then it's another ball game.
